Just back from winter break. Semester's start = book buying time!
Of course, buying books for classes means browsing to find them, which means being tempted into buying books NOT related to school in any way.
Here's what I'm buying for fun:
Ummm.... none of these are actually required reading. I know, I have no self control. But I'm really looking forward to Stitch 'n Bitch! I'm one of the few people I know who subscribes to both Martha Stewart Living and Bitch: Feminist Response to Pop Culture. A like-minded individual pointed out that someone who subscribes to both could reasonably be called a crafty bitch. That's me!
Here's the required reading I bought this week:
They cost a small fortune, but most of them look interesting, and I hope to have much less photocopying to do this term. I've still got another half-dozen or so books I'll need to buy sometime next week, though. Maybe I'll post those here, too.
